The Bruce Festival 2011 - A Legendary Walk

A Legendary Walk

Set in Dunfermline’s atmospheric Glen, in the shadow of the magnificent Abbey, this theatrical tour tells the story of Bruce’s medieval Scotland capturing to full effect the drama and spirit of the age.

You will come face to face with the ghosts of Bruce’s past as he leads them through his struggles towards an independent Scotland and his passionate fight for freedom.

Flaming arrows will fly overhead as the warrior cross swords with the English in a mesmerizing show.

Ghostly mischief and interaction will keep the audience on its toes throughout the whole tour as the triumphant climax at the Battle of Bannockburn approaches.

The drama of this entertaining spectacle will be enjoyed by the whole family, providing a memorable opportunity to sample Dunfermline’s Glen as you’ve never seen it before.
