Christmas is coming to The Kingsgate Shopping Centre
Christmas arrives at Dunfermline's Kingsgate next Thursday with the shopping centre's launch of its month-long programme of festive activity.
Dumfy the Dragon, panto favourites Captain Hook and Peter Pan, reindeer stilt walkers, jugglers and clowns, will make appearances from 5.30pm.
Santa arrives in Debenhams at 1pm on 22nd November, and Christmas card workshops for kids will be held on 6th and 7th December from noon-4pm.
Dumfy the Dragon returns from noon-3pm on 13th December, together with balloon modellers and face painters.
West Fife primary school choirs will also be performing, with Pitcorthie on 10th December, Inzievar and Holy Name on 12th December and St Leonard's and Commercial on 15th December. All performances are at 10am.
Shoppers can expect plenty of live music, starting with a jazz band from noon-4pm on 6th December.
Other performances will be from the Dysart Brass Band from 1.30-3.30pm on 7th December; the Christmas Brass Band from 11am-1pm on 13th December; and the Rosyth Concert Band from noon-2pm on 21st December.
The programme launch will be held at the Egg Area on the ground floor near Debenhams.
Shoppers will also have the chance to win a family trip to visit Lapland before Christmas. Dunfermline Press
