Scotsman on the tracks

The Flying Scotsman will be crossing our iconic World Heritage Forth Bridge this Sunday, 15th May. The Forth Bridge Hub will be open and we will be providing some great entertainment during the day with talks and presentations from local residents and Bridge enthusuasts. There are no tickets for this event. Please Note: The train will simply be crossing the bridge.

See Flying Scotsman in action throughout 2016 and beyond as it hauls special tours across the UK.

Please note that the National Railway Museum is not running these tours – all enquiries about tickets and bookings should be made to the relevant tour operator:
Steam Dreams – 01483 209888 (9am to 5.30pm Monday-Friday).
Railway Touring Company – 01553 661 500 (8.30am to 5pm, Monday-Friday & Saturday 9am to 4pm).

While we understand interest in Flying Scotsman will be extremely high, we urge those wishing to view it on its tour dates do so from a safe vantage point. It is vital that spectators do not venture onto the railway, particularly when it is on the mainline as a full timetable of regular services will also be running.
