Hello.

I love discovering local businesses to support, and Dunfermline is full of them.

If there is one thing I have come to appreciate about small businesses in Dunfermline, is their incredible energy and creativity  and passion for their town.

One of my favourite places to shop for gifts, usually for myself, is Abbot House Gift Shop.

For me, the setting - the oldest house in Dunfermline (it dates back to the 16th century),

and an incredible range of  local products is a match made in heaven!

On Saturday 7 August, Abbott House will be holding their ‘Meet the Maker’ event.

Local Artist Cara Shanley from Sketching Fife will be there together with some of her latest work so please pop down to say hello.

Speaking of loving local, the Scotland Loves Local Awards are open again.
