Hi,
I love Lindsays inspiring ‘can do’ post for us all below.
Enjoy!
Billy.
Hello,
Today I went to visit a new shop in Dunfermline and I came out inspired!
Estia Soaps is a tranquil haven on East Port, Dunfermline, and a sensory delight for all who enter.
Filled with an exquisite range of aromatherapy, bath and skincare products, which are all committed to being 100% natural, vegan and naturally luxurious.
Like so many local Dunfermline businesses, it is the story behind it, that really made an impact on me.
In 2018 Olga, her husband Spiros and their then, 15th month old son arrived in Scotland, from Greece, with 3 suitcases to their name.
Olga was 9 months pregnant at the time and they spent their first month sleeping on an air mattress in an empty apartment.
Following the birth of their second son, who as she describes “rocks an extra chromosome”, Olga started her soap business in her new home. These recipes had first been created back in Greece in 2006.
She describes her sons as “giving us the inspiration and strength we need on a daily basis to push ourselves to the max and always strive for more!”.

As a small business, Olga went on to receive a number of consumer business awards with her home-made products. Opening the shop is the culmination of incredible hard work and an opportunity to take the business to the next level.
Olga reminded me that if you have a dream and you are prepared to put in the hard work, anything is possible.
You can start over, and there is no age limit to achieving success!
As I said, I came away feeling utterly inspired and I might have purchased some gorgeous bath salts too.
Until next time.
Lindsay.
