Hello!
I just love taking photos. As someone who only started about 8 years ago with a small Nikon given to me by my wife for Christmas, I’d say I was still pretty much learning my craft. I must have taken the best part of quarter of a million photos in that time though.
A huge proportion of those images are of course from our beautiful city. It doesn’t matter how many times you revisit those locations you catch a different angle, a new perspective or a completely different light. Every image is in its own way, unique.
Portraying our city and surrounding area in a positive way, through our various social media sites is a massive past of how we at Visit Dunfermline promote our beautiful place. Photography is obviously a massive past of that. I personally, go out in all sorts of weather and at all different times of the day, to try and obtain those unique images that you seem to enjoy so much.
That brings me round to mentioning our Visit Dunfermline calendar for 2023 in which I portray Dunfermline and its surrounds throughout the seasons. Trust me, it isn’t a five minute task trawling through the thousands of images and narrowing it down to just twelve. I could do it a hundred times in a day and end up with a different result every time.
However, I think this year’s effort is very good (even if I do say so myself) and they are selling well. If you are interested in purchasing one for yourself or as a present you can either email me , DM us on Facebook or access our Visit Dunfermline App and purchase it there.
Have a fantastic weekend folks.
Billy
